Satin silk is the classic among silk fabrics. This silk is very refined and elegant and is used for both square and long scarves. Satin silk is characterized by its smoothness and a slight sheen on the printed side. If you do not like the shine, twill silk is the best alternative.

Twill silk is very similar to satin silk. The main difference lies in the weaving technique of the silk yarn. The surface is slightly more matte and features a fine diagonal ribbed texture. This structure gives the silk more grip and less shine.
