Satin-Silk
Satin-silk is the classic among silk fabrics. This silk is very fine and elegant and is used for both square and long scarves. Satin silk is characterised by its smoothness and a slight sheen on the printed side. For those who don’t like the shine, twill-silk is the best alternative.

Twill-silk
Twill-silk is very similar to satin-silk. The main difference is the weave of the silk yarn. The surface is a little duller and has a fine ribbing that runs diagonally. This structure gives the silk more grip and less shine.

Georgette-Silk
Georgette-silk is a fine and light fabric with a slightly sheer look. The fine consistency is similiar than a veil. Georgette feels a little grainy and sandy and has a rough feel. Despite its lightness, the fabric is strong and tear-resistant.

Pignoletto (Cottonsilk)
Pignoletto refers to a fabric blend of cotton and silk – which is why you often hear the name “cottonsilk”. This fabric is light but still robust and is characterised by high quality and a supple feel. Smaller scarves from Pignoletto are ideal for spring and summer, whereas larger scarves are also suitable as winter scarves.
