No, usually we don’t know. But especially in professional life, it would be important to be aware of this and send the right signals to the person opposite you. Different effects are created not only by clothes but also by means of accessories. A satin shawl, which is sometimes tied tightly or very loosely around the neck, can say a lot about a person here. Because by choosing a certain color, conclusions can also be drawn about one’s character. A preferred color is either a sign of the current emotional state or a need that is being sought by the person. Depending on which values you want to convey, you should know the meaning of the following colors.

The color blue stands for security and competence, while it also underlines the trustworthiness of the person. Anyone who wants to radiate calm and lightness prefers this color. A strong medium blue or royal blue are mainly worn by people who want to achieve an extravagant appearance.

White symbolizes simplicity, while also emphasizing modesty. A person wearing white tries to turn away from the worldly and escapes into a world of appearances. The color white also stands for ambition and calculation. Depending on the combination, a different message can therefore be conveyed.

The color brown shows that a person is down-to-earth, natural, and undemanding. A dark brown creates a mysterious and solid impression. The combination with gray loosens this effect and ensures a nice and friendly charisma.

Those who want to build empathy can strengthen this with a green foulard. Attributes such as social competence and modesty are highlighted. The gentleness of a person can be symbolized above all by the color gradations of apple and pistachio green. In contrast, the combination of bottle or emerald green with black radiates power and authority.

Power can be projected through the color red. It is also the signal color for strength, creativity, and self-confidence. This color clearly also stands for passion and seduction.

A cheerful color is orange. It ensures stimulating communication. Depending on the shade, the color can appear obtrusive or warm-hearted. Those who do not want to appear extroverted should rather prefer a muted orange.

Thus, through the skillful choice of a scarf, the perception of customers or conversation partners is indirectly influenced. In this regard, every person can surely report on their own experiences; it often happens that for inexplicable reasons a person appears sympathetic or serious without ever having spoken to him or her. Because already in childhood, we are shaped by various factors such as upbringing, fashion, and culture, whereby our perception is constantly influenced. We learn early on that red stands for love and blue for loyalty.

Color psychology is also used in advertising; by combining light, bright, and rather heavy, dark colors, the optimal scene is designed. In this way, viewers can be addressed and influenced directly.

Depending on the color shade, the effect and thus also the meaning of a color changes. Therefore, the decision for clothing or a scarf in a certain color is not to be underestimated, as depending on your intentions, the color of a noble satin shawl can support or impair you.
